For this feature documentary, the director was inspired by the look and feel of classic docs from Errol Morris, like “The Thin Blue Line” so we embraced the aesthetics of printed material, especially with vintage source material dating back to the 1970s.

The film features almost a hundred individual graphics, and while many didn’t require extensive motion animation, special attention was paid to historical images and documents to make sure they didn’t feel digital or too modern.
